Sony brings the metaverse to smartphones with wearable movement trackers
Sony has launched a set of wearable movement trackers that can convey customers into the metaverse with their smartphones. The Mocopi system contains six pucks worn across the consumer’s wrists, ankles, arms and hips. These sensors will work to animate avatars inside numerous metaverse apps on Android smartphones and iPhones. Sony stated it would launch these movement trackers in Japan in January subsequent 12 months at a retail worth of 49,500 Yen (or approx Rs 29,222).
